Holiday Gift Guides

The holiday season is overwhelming to say the least. When life is already hectic, life asks more of you. For our family, we really try to slow down and most importantly choose to spend time together by making delicious foods (hello cinnamon buns and delicious soups!) , playing games & watching family movies. Gift giving is also a big part of this season and I am happy to share some of our favourites over the years. Most of the links below (but not all) are affiliate links and will help contribute to hosting this webpage. Thank you in advance for shopping my links XoXo, it’s truly somedays what keeps my motivation to share all things holistic lifestyle alive.

Holiday Gift Guide Boy Edition

  1. Organic Underwear; always the “healthier” choice when choosing undies for your kids! I always try to grab them a set on sale & for the Christmas stocking.

  2. Kendama; a Japanese toy that is tons of fun and it so easy to bring with you everywhere you go.

  3. Foldable Wallet; this trifold wallet makes for such a functional and practical gift as boys start to find pride in responsibility carrying and handling their own money. This brand will age well with them into their teenage years.

  4. Lego Ceramic Mug; we have transitioned all our cups at the family table to mugs as it just avoids all use of plastic & they are harder to knock over (bye bye spills!)

  5. Lego Dreamz; Lego (albeit overpriced) is one toy I really don’t mind purchasing. I love how kids have to use their tactile skills while buildng & also have to follow instructions. It’s amazing to see them completely work independently at such young ages! And the bigger the lego set the better I have learnt LOL.

  6. Razor Scooter; every child needs a scooter. I know boys in our town especially love to hit the skate park with theirs.

  7. Needoh Fidgit Toy; purely fun stocking stuffer. Kids love them.

  8. Nerf Guns; I have no problem with the topic of (guns) and in our house (nerf guns) are allowed.

Holiday Gift Guide Toddler Edition

  1. Organic Underwear; always the “healthier” choice when choosing undies for your kids! I always try to grab them a set on sale & for the Christmas stocking.

  2. Magnetic Men; This makes for a small potential stocking stuffer that is travel friendly and perfect for on-the-go events & restaurants too. This toy I will be purchasing this year and have heard many good things about.

  3. Schleich Animals; All the Schleich animal figures have a good weight to them and feel substantial in your hands – not cheap and 'plastically'. The attention to detail is amazing too and up close you can see they are hand painted with life-like features like skin and fur textures. I try to buy one or two every special occasion to add to their collection. These would be in one of my top 5 toys for kids, along with a good wooden block set could keep kids entertained for hours.

  4. Bluey Plane; for all the Bluey lovers. I love the props this specific one comes with for creative play

  5. Memory Game; a memory matching game is one of the few kid games I love playing with my kids and they love it too. Think Sunday morning (hot coffee in hand) and intentional fun time as a family.

  7. NeeDoh Fidget Toy; purely fun stocking stuffer. Kids love them.
